INASL organizes two major conferences every year; these are the INASL National Meeting held in association with the annual ISG Conference and the Annual INASL Conference, which has moved from March to August since 2015. INASL also sponsors two to six Single-Theme Meetings during the year to promote basic and clinical research on various aspects of hepatobiliary diseases.
This conference is now scheduled in July-August every year. This is a scientific meeting for those interested in the liver and biliary tract. The duration of this meeting is 3 days. The Annual Meeting offers a forum to present and discuss various aspects of liver disease relevant to the Indian context. Other event of the annual meeting includes a Continuing Medical Education session.
National Meeting is a one-day program, held in association with the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) and the Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy in India (SGEI) and is usually held every year in October-November. Both Annual and Mid-term meetings feature, Symposia, State-of-the-Art Lecturers, Controversies, Panel discussions, Quiz competitions and presentation of original research papers. Single Theme Meetings These are designed to offer a high level of interaction among faculty and participants.
They are aimed at the collection of national data, promotion of clinical and basic research and formation of guidelines for prevention and/or treatment of liver and biliary diseases.
